Some of Singapore's best up-and-coming youth bands will take part in Youth Music Matters - the band search looking to discover the most talented artists aged between 15 and 25.

Timbre+ One North will host the semi-finals on September 7, and finals on September 8 - entry is free, so join us and help nurture the Singapore music scene!

How does it work?

Submit your best tracks and performances through our online application form, and our panel of music experts will choose a shortlist of bands to rock the stage at Timbre+ One North in our semi finals on September 7th and finals on September 8th.

Are you ready to shine?

  • Simply complete the application form by 26 August.

  • To take part, you must:

    • Be aged between 15-25 years old on the day applications close

    • Currently reside in Singapore

    • Be in a group of minimum 3 to maximum 6 performers

    • Be available on the given dates to register and perform

    • Perform material in English language

    Please refer to the application form for full terms and conditions

  • A panel of judges with extensive experience in Singapore’s live music scene will select the bands advancing to the semifinals. These same judges will oversee both the semifinals and finals, applying clear selection criteria.

    • 26 August: applications close

    • 24-29 August: shortlisted applicants to attend an in-person registration and short audition

    • 30 August: semi finalists announced

    • 7 September: live semi finals at Timbre+ One North

    • 8 September: live finals at Timbre+ One North

    • 20 September: performance at the SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX
