Sports Matters North Asia returned in April 2024
Branded, in association with The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Hong Kong China Rugby, brought Sports Matters to Hong Kong on the eve of the iconic Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.
Held at HKJC’s Happy Valley Racecourse on Friday 5th April 2024, we tackled the resurgence of the North Asian sports industry, including Greater China, Japan and Korea, plus lots of networking!
Our stellar line-up of speakers were from the likes of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Hong Kong China Rugby, World Rugby, Asia Football Group, HSBC, Cathay, Mastercard, Havas Play, Standard Chartered Bank, Kai Tak Sports Park, Mission Hills, InvestHK, Laureus Sport for Good and including legendary rugby player Brian O’Driscoll, ex All Blacks Captain Sean Fitzpatrick, and the greatest rower of all time, Sir Steve Redgrave!
Sports Matters Academy
Sports Matters Academy was created to build a foundation for next gen sports business leaders to learn and upskill through the mentorship, training and knowledge sharing of global industry icons.
The Academy is produced by, with, and for the Asia Pacific sports business community with some of the industry’s most accomplished executives, sports managers, and creative minds to provide guidance and insight to aspiring professionals.
Attendees and participants will ultimately be equipped to succeed through the insights, knowledge sharing and mentorship of an exclusive selection of globally recognised entertainment industry leaders and athletes themselves.
